Managing AI Agents in Edworking

AI agents help with recurring knowledge, reporting and writing work. The current Business plan includes AI Automation Agents. Available agents and controls depend on your workspace configuration and permissions.

Find and configure agents

  1. Open the Agents area in your workspace settings.
  2. Review the agents already available before creating another with the same purpose.
  3. Open an agent's settings and check its instructions, selected context and any schedule or activation controls.
  4. Enable or save it using the controls shown, then test it on a small, familiar piece of work.
  5. Read the result and adjust the instructions if it misses the intended scope.

Choose the right assistant

  • Knowledge Assistant: helps answer questions using available workspace knowledge.
  • Daily Reporter: supports summaries of team or space activity.
  • Writer: helps draft, improve and summarise written content, with configuration for scheduled updates.

Do not assume every agent is enabled by default. Check the actual workspace settings and each agent's configured responsibilities.

Write useful instructions

Specify the space, audience, output and frequency. For example: “Summarise decisions and unresolved questions from this project's notes. Include the source and leave out unrelated spaces.”

Start with a summary or draft you can check. Before enabling recurring changes, review what the agent can read and do and who will receive its output.

Review and adjust

AI results can be incomplete or incorrect. Check important facts against the original tasks, documents and conversations. Keep source material current, and pause or disable an agent using its controls when its work is no longer needed.

If an agent or setting is missing, check Business access and your permissions. If output seems stale, review its source context and schedule.
