Guide to Google Calendar Sync

Connect Google Calendar to see selected calendars alongside your work in Edworking. The native connection is available on all plans.

Connect your Google account

  1. Open the calendar and its menu, then choose Sync Calendar.
  2. In Calendar Synchronisation, open Google Calendar and choose Sync Account.
  3. In Google's authorisation window, select the correct Google account and review the requested access.
  4. Return to Edworking and select the calendars you want to display.
  5. Review Edworking Features and the available task-deadline visibility options. Apply the settings using the control shown in the dialog.

You can return to this dialog to adjust the connected account and selected calendars.

Understand what is synchronised

The integration brings calendar information into your planning view. Selected Google events and Edworking task deadlines can be visible alongside one another.

Do not treat calendar visibility as a guarantee of full two-way editing. An edit made in one service is not documented as automatically updating the other. Open the original event or task in its source when changing important details, and verify the result there.

Review your schedule

Expand the calendar and switch between Day, Week and Month. Use visibility controls to reduce clutter and Today to return to the current date. Open an event or task for its details.

Troubleshooting

  • Missing events: check the connected Google account, selected calendars and date range.
  • Wrong time: check your profile timezone and the event's timezone.
  • Connection expired: reopen the sync settings and follow the available reconnect flow.
  • Too much information: hide calendars you do not need rather than deleting their events.
