Guide: How Pricing, Billing, Upgrades, Trials, and Cancellations Work

Edworking pricing, billing & plans guide

This guide explains how Edworking’s pricing works, how to see live prices in the app, and how to upgrade, downgrade, manage billing, use the free trial and cancel a subscription. It follows SaaS best‑practice by being transparent about fees and features and showing step‑by‑step navigation inside the app. Where possible, features and prices are summarised in concise tables and supported with citations from official sources.

1. Pricing structure

Edworking offers two pricing models – per‑user plans for smaller teams and team (unlimited users) plans for larger organisations. Each model has a free tier and two paid tiers (Basic and Business). You can choose to pay monthly or yearly; switching to yearly billing gives a lower per‑month rate.

1.1 Per‑user plans (individual licence)

The per‑user plans are billed per person and come in three tiers. Feature differences are summarised below; these numbers come from the official pricing document. All amounts are in USD for clarity; the platform lets you display prices in USD, GBP or EUR.

1.2 Team plans (unlimited users)

Team plans charge a flat price and allow unlimited users. As with per‑user plans, there’s a free tier and two paid tiers, with lower per‑month rates when billed yearly. The important differences are outlined below:

2. Viewing prices and plan details inside the app

You can see up‑to‑date prices directly within the Edworking app. Prices update automatically when Edworking makes changes, so this is the most reliable place to check your costs. Follow these steps:

  1. Open your profile menu – Click your avatar in the top‑right of the Edworking interface. A drop‑down appears with options such as Preferences, Feedback and Logout.
  2. Go to Preferences → Team → Plans & Billing – Select Preferences from the drop‑down, then click the Team tab and choose Plans & Billing in the left menu. This page shows your current plan (e.g. Business), number of members and links for Manage Billing and Upgrade Plan.![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/d/f/b/4/dfb443682a2f5800/image_io4ceh.png)
  3. Click “Upgrade Plan” – A modal window opens showing the available plans. Use the tabs at the top to switch between Individual License and Team License, and the Billed Yearly toggle on each card to switch between monthly and yearly pricing. The modal lists each plan’s price and a concise summary of its features.![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/d/f/b/4/dfb443682a2f5800/image_4t2edm.png)
    • For individual plans, Free, Basic and Business appear. Switching off the Billed Yearly toggle shows the monthly price (e.g., $6 for Basic and $12 for Business)uk.edworking.com.
    • For team plans, switching to Team License displays Free (up to 5 users), Basic Team and Business Team. Here the monthly prices are $49 (Basic) and $99 (Business), and the yearly prices drop to $40.80 and $82.50 per month.![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/d/f/b/4/dfb443682a2f5800/image_6qpyvw.png)
  1. Click “Manage Billing” – This link opens the Stripe billing portal in a new tab (about:blank then loads the portal). In Stripe you can view invoices, update payment methods, download receipts, switch plans or cancel your subscription. For security reasons the portal isn’t shown here, but it looks like a standard Stripe dashboard.

3. Upgrading and downgrading plans

Edworking makes it easy to change plans at any time:

  • Upgrading – Choose a higher tier (e.g., Free → Basic → Business) via the Upgrade Plan modal. Stripe automatically pro‑rates the cost: you only pay the difference between your current plan and the new plan for the rest of the billing cycle.
  • Downgrading – You can downgrade through the same modal or via the Stripe portal. The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you continue enjoying the higher tier until your next renewal.
  • Switching between per‑user and team licences – In the Upgrade Plan modal, use the Individual License / Team License tabs to change billing models. Switching will adjust your cost according to the number of users in your team.

4. Managing billing & payment methods

All billing is handled through Stripe, a secure payment processor. From the Plans & Billing page, click Manage Billing to open the Stripe portal. In the portal you can:

  • View past invoices and download receipts.
  • Update or add credit cards or payment methods.
  • Change your billing address or VAT information.
  • Cancel, pause or reactivate your subscription.

According to Edworking’s FAQ, they accept **all major credit cards, Google Pay and (in some countries) **direct debit. Payments can be made in USD, EUR or GBP, and taxes such as VAT may be added depending on your region.

5. Free trial, cancellations & refunds

  • 7‑day free trial – When you sign up for Edworking, your account starts on a 7‑day Basic trial. You can explore all basic features without entering a payment method. After the trial ends you revert to the Free plan unless you upgrade.
  • Cancelling your subscription – You may cancel at any time via the Manage Billing link. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle (monthly or yearly). After cancellation your workspace continues on the Free tier, retaining your data (subject to the Free plan limits).
  • Refunds & guarantee – Edworking offers a 100 % money‑back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied within the first month, they will refund your subscription. After the first month, refunds are generally not issued except as required by law.

6. Taxes, currency & region

Prices are displayed in USD, EUR or GBP and may vary slightly depending on exchange rates. The currency can be changed in the pricing dialog. Taxes such as VAT are added based on your billing country. When you enter your payment details in Stripe, the final total including taxes is displayed before you confirm.

7. Frequently asked questions

Q: How do I change from monthly to yearly billing?

A: Open Plans & BillingUpgrade Plan, select your plan and toggle Billed Yearly. This immediately switches your next renewal to yearly billing at the lower per‑month rate.

Q: What happens if I cancel my trial?

A: Cancelling during the 7‑day trial simply ends the trial. Your account drops to the Free plan at the end of the trial period.

Q: Can I upgrade only some members to a higher tier?

A: With per‑user plans you pay per seat; you can add or remove users in the Members tab. The cost adjusts automatically. Team plans have a flat price and cover unlimited users, so no per‑seat adjustments are needed.

Q: Where can I get help?

A: The Plans & Billing page links to support articles and you can contact support via email or in‑app chat. Edworking’s FAQ page explains payment methods, plan switching and the trial.

This guide is based on the official Edworking pricing PDF (dated 3 Nov 2025) and the current pricing page on edworking.com. Always check the in‑app Upgrade Plan dialog for the latest prices and features.
