How to Remove Your Edworking Account
This guide walks you through the process of permanently removing an Edworking account.
It includes step‑by‑step instructions and screenshots to illustrate each action.
Important: deleting your account is irreversible and deletes all of your data. Follow these steps only if you are certain you want to remove your account.
Prerequisites
- Your Edworking login credentials.
- Access to a web browser.
Steps to remove your account
1. Sign in to Edworking
- Open your browser and go to app.edworking.com.
- Enter your email and password and click Sign In.
- When you successfully log in, you’ll land on the All Spaces dashboard, which lists your tasks, docs and team information.
2. Open the profile menu
- In the top‑right corner of the dashboard, locate your profile picture (a small user avatar).
- Click the avatar to open the profile menu. A drop‑down appears with several options including Preferences, Feedback, Live Support and Logout.
3. Go to Preferences → My Account
- From the drop‑down, click Preferences.
- This opens the My Account page where you can view and edit your personal details, change your password, switch the interface theme and manage other settings.
4. Locate the “Remove Account” button
- Scroll to the bottom of the My Account page (if necessary) until you see a section labeled Remove Account.
- A description warns that removing the account will permanently delete all of your data. To the right is a Remove Account button
Do not click this button unless you are absolutely sure you want to delete your account.
5. Open (but do not confirm) the deletion pop‑up
- Click the Remove Account button once. Edworking displays a confirmation pop‑up asking “Are you sure?” with Cancel and Delete options.
- At this point, your account has not been deleted yet. If you’re sure you want to proceed, you would click Delete. Otherwise, click Cancel (or the × icon) to close the pop‑up and leave your account intact shows the confirmation dialog.
6. Confirm deletion (optional)
If you truly want to permanently remove your account, click Delete in the confirmation pop‑up. This final step cannot be undone. If you are not certain, choose Cancel instead and your account will remain active.
Notes and warnings
- Finality: Deleting your account permanently removes all spaces, tasks, documents and content associated with it. There is no way to recover an account after deletion.
- Team memberships: If you belong to one or more teams, removing your account will remove you from those teams as well.
- Data backups: Consider downloading any important documents or information before deleting your account.
- Support: If you run into issues or have second thoughts, you can always select Live Support from the profile menu to chat with Edworking’s support team.
