Managing AI Agents in Edworking

Edworking’s AI agents act as intelligent team‑mates that help automate support and reporting tasks. This guide explains how to find and control your agents from your profile settings and provides an overview of each agent’s role.

Navigating to the Agents settings

  1. Open Edworking: Navigate to `app.edworking.com` and sign in if you aren’t already.
  2. Access Preferences: Click your avatar in the top‑right corner of the workspace and choose Preferences from the drop‑down menu.
  3. Open the Agents section: In the left‑hand sidebar of the Preferences page, select Agents. You will see a list of available AI agents, each with a card displaying a toggle switch. A blue toggle means the agent is enabled; grey means disabled.![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/d/f/b/4/dfb443682a2f5800/image_17flhg7.png)

  1. Enable or disable an agent: Use the toggle on each card to turn the agent on or off. Changes take effect immediately—no need to save.

Understanding the available agents

Edworking currently offers two AI agents, with more on the way.

Key features

Knowledge Assistant

Daily Reporter

Additional agent capabilities

The Edworking AI platform describes several general capabilities that apply across all agents:

  • Infinite Memory: Agents remember conversations, decisions and context, learning and improving over time.
  • Deep Knowledge: They access your entire workspace knowledge base, enabling instant recall of any document, task or conversation.
  • Always On: Agents operate 24/7, continuously monitoring and analysing your workspace.
  • Instant Action: They can act immediately on insights, executing tasks whenever needed.
  • Team Aware & Secure: Agents personalise responses based on team roles and preferences and keep your data within your workspace, ensuring privacy.

Tips for using agents effectively

  • Start with defaults: Both Knowledge Assistant and Daily Reporter are enabled by default. Use them for a week to experience how they can help your team.
  • Adjust as needed: If an agent doesn’t fit your workflow, disable it temporarily. You can re‑enable it later from the same screen.
  • Monitor their suggestions: Agents learn from your workspace. Provide feedback to refine their responses and improve their usefulness over time.

By understanding what each AI agent does and how to control them from your profile, you can tailor Edworking’s AI features to fit your team’s needs and boost productivity.
